Last Wednesday the bar played host to a big lively beach party to celebrate the joint birthdays of Paul, Jenny & Margo. Live music was provided by Butch, Bebot, Jude & others, as well as the talents of Django & the bongo boys and our firedancing friends. A fantastic night was had by all!

Well after all the recent upheaval I'm really glad to see the back of 2006. We didn't really bother with christmas this year, and although we enjoyed a meal on the beach to celebrate New Year with our neighbours Peter and Lyn and some friends while we watched the fireworks display, we didn't hit the town afterwards like we usually do. When Joey finally headed back to the cottage some time in the early hours of this morning he discovered that we'd been broken into again. Happy New Year!
